Reformatted PC refuses to connect to internet!!!  :(
Hi there,Recently my partner formatted his pc due to the kids getting some nasty virus' into it - all seemed fine initially with the formatting, the pc boots up quicker then ever, all programs run as they should and the pc comunicates with the printer and scanner, however - it refuses to connect to the internet! It doesn't even recognise the router - it's wired in, so there's no wi-fi to trouble shoot, so as far as we're aware it should connect up fine...All physical connections (wires etc) have been checked and all secure, the router is connecting other PC's in the house (including this one) fine, with a strong signal, so we're baffled!Does anyone have any idea's please?Cheers!1 person needs an answerI do too
